Therapy Services Overview

I enjoy the diversity and well-rounded experience that working with multiple types of therapy brings to my practice and to my clients. I work with individual adult clients, as well as offering couples therapy, family therapy, and child and teen therapy. My principles of respect, positive regard, encouragement, and focusing on building positive communication and self-esteem apply across all categories. Child Therapy

Child therapy offers additional support to children struggling with emotional regulation, self-expression, peer relationships, or other social, emotional, academic, or behavioral challenges. I integrate elements of play therapy and expressive arts therapy to help children find their voices, develop healthy self-advocacy and communication, and practice empathy and consideration of others. Teen & Adolescent Therapy

Teen and adolescent therapy works to support teens and pre-teens in working through the growth and challenges that come with transitioning from childhood towards young adulthood. Offering support for emotional regulation, peer relationships, family challenges, and cultivation of character and strong foundational values, I provide a safe space for teens and adolescents to process their confusion, angst, grief, and other emotions, while they develop their personal navigational skills during this dynamic life chapter. Family Therapy

Family therapy works to address structural and relational issues within family units, to help improve communication, mutual understanding, and clear understanding of family and household norms and expectations. I work with families to help build healthy communication patterns and a clear understanding of family hierarchy and structure so that families can work as a team towards their shared goals and values.
